Holy cow! I'm exactly one week away from turning 21! Here in America, that's just about the last age restriction on anything that you have to reach a certain age to legally do. I'll be a full adult! How is that possible?! In my deepest inner mind I don't think I ever quite left childhood. So much stuff got left over. This has inspired me to make a list of these things that, if anyone else wants to duplicate, might turn into one of the many journal memes floating around here on dA. Here it goes:

I am almost 21 years old and I still...

1. have a fascination with the bugs I see on the sidewalk.

2. have an immense collection of stuffed animals.

3. sleep with some of these stuffed animals in my bed.

4. will walk around with an insect on one finger.

5. talk to my stuffed toys sometimes.

6. believe that if it has eyes, real or fake, it can see and could be mentally harmed by what it sees.

7. get scared in dark places that are just a little too quiet, even if I'm able to psych myself out of it.

8. get distracted by the music in my head.

9. get distracted by the stories I make up in my head.

10. cry over television. (that's not such a big one)

11. goof around on avatar websites. (also not such a big one)

12. panic at things not going how I planned them.

13. get really, really hyper from one cappuccino ANYTHING.

14. hate coffee.

15. don't have a driver's license.

16. can't drive to save my life.

17. don't have a job. (which might change soon!)

18. have imaginary friends to a certain extent.

19. believe that some inanimate objects can be given a spirit if one wills it enough.

20. have never actually dated or had a boyfriend.

21. am a HUUUUUGE otaku. ^_^

Well there's 21 things still true of me that most people have moved on from by this time. There are others, but those things probably aren't fit for the public eye. And now, back to the schoolwork of a college junior.
